Labs – Physics/Chemistry/Biology

Physics laboratory of KV Tatanagar is equipped with all facilities as per the NCERT syllabus for secondary and senior secondary level. Laboratory layout is strictly as per the norms as prescribed by NCERT and CBSE. Apart from curriculum centred facility, our lab is well equipped for demonstration related to optics, mechanics, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effect of current sound etc. under the scheme of modernisation of lab. Physics laboratory can be utilise for teaching purpose to incorporate theory content as well as live demonstration.

Kendriya Vidyalay Tatanagar actively participated in activities like science exhibition and national Children Science Congress every year as directed by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

PM SHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA TATANAGAR Biology Lab – School has well equipped and well furnished biology laboratory. Lab has modern equipments and tools which includes compound microscopes, bunsen burner, digital weighing machine, models of detachable heart, ear, brain, kidney, eye, types of joints, human skeleton with case, DNA and several charts.

The lab also has computer system. Reference books are available for students which are issued to them from time to time.

The lab has an attached store room for storing good quality chemicals and stains and high quality glassware. There are two more rooms. One for keeping compound microscopes and the other for sitting of the faculty. There are three large tables for seating and four water points for smooth conduction of practicals.
